MENRE Receives Best Employer Award from PhilHealth BARMM
COTABATO CITY (October 10, 2025) — The Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy (MENRE) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has been recognized as the Best Employer by the PhilHealth Regional Office BARMM for the City of Cotabato during the PhilHealth Rawaten 2025: Pagkilala at Pasasalamat ceremony held on Thursday, October 9.
The award highlights MENRE’s strong partnership and unwavering support to PhilHealth in advancing the objectives of Universal Health Care (UHC) within the Bangsamoro region. Through its consistent compliance, active engagement, and commitment to employee welfare, MENRE continues to exemplify responsible governance and institutional accountability by ensuring that all its personnel are covered under the national health insurance program.
Representing MENRE during the awarding ceremony were Chief Administrative Officer Rowaida D. Lalang and PhilHealth Employer’s Engagement Representative Rohannie K. Abas, who jointly received the plaque of recognition on behalf of the Ministry.
The Rawaten Awards serve as PhilHealth’s expression of gratitude to its outstanding partners and stakeholders across BARMM whose continued collaboration contributes to the agency’s mission of delivering accessible, quality, and affordable health services for every Bangsamoro.
