Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’ Announces the Appointment of New Executive Director
GENERAL SANTOS CITY (September 16, 2024) — The Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’ of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao has announced the appointment of Hafiz Abdurrahman Abuhuraira as its new Executive Director via its Facebook page.
Born in Sabah, Malaysia, Hafiz Abdurrahman, now 43, is the son of the late Bangsamoro Mufti Abuhuraira A. Udasan and Muslima Habib.
According to the announcement, Hafiz Abdurrahman earned a Higher Diploma in Business Information Technology in 2002 and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, with a specialization in Information System Management, from Tun Abdul Razak University Malaysia in 2007.
He currently serves as a lecturer at Asian Tourism International College, teaches at Stairway to Hope Tuition Centre since January 2023, and works as a motivational teacher and trainer at Dragon Muay Thai Academy and Open University Malaysia on a contractual basis.
Previously, Hafiz Abdurrahman held positions as Administrative Supervisor and Marketing Administrator at NXG Shared Services from October 2013 to May 2015. He also served as IT Officer at Maribumi Groups SDN BHD and worked as an IT Technician and Media Publisher at the United Sabah Islamic Association. (Gandhi C. Kinjiyo, BMN/BangsamoroToday)
