MP Benito Expresses Gratitude for Chief Minister Macacua’s Historic Address to the Bangsamoro
COTABATO CITY (August 8, 2025) — Member of Parliament Abdulbasit Benito expressed his heartfelt gratitude and honor for being part of the historic Chief Minister’s Hour: Ulat sa Bangsamoro, held on August 7, 2025, at the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex, Bangsamoro Government Center.
The event gathered key officials from the national, regional, and local governments to hear Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua’s report on the achievements, challenges, and future direction of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
“It was a privilege and a humbling experience to witness the Chief Minister’s honest and insightful report. It reminded us of what we’ve accomplished and of the greater challenges we must face together,” MP Benito said.

Chief Minister Macacua’s address centered on the themes of transparency, inclusive governance, and sustainable development—core principles as BARMM continues to navigate a crucial stage in its transition toward full autonomy and lasting peace.

Chief Minister Macacua reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the legacy of moral governance established by the late Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim, emphasizing BARMM’s focus on service, integrity, and transparency.
