Governor Macacua Emphasizes Education’s Power in MOA Signing between Province of MDN and CSU

COTABATO CITY (May 15, 2024) – Maguindanao del Norte Governor Abdulraof “Gob Sam” Macacua highlighted the transformative power of education during the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Province of Magunidanao del Norte and Cotabato State University (CSU) on May 14, 2024. This agreement marks the launch of extension classes for graduate programs in Kabuntalan, a municipality in the province.

“Ang nagpapatakbo sa mundo ay yaong mga taong may education (Those who run the world are those with education), because it is powerful. That’s why the Province of Maguindanao del Norte initiated this program in partnership with the Cotabato State University sa Kabuntalan. As you can also see, Kabuntalan needs boosts and a promising municipality of the province,” Governor Macacua stated.

The governor said the initiative aims to enhance the local education system and lay the foundation for future development in Kabuntalan.

University President Prof. Sema Dilna praised the project, emphasizing Governor Macacua’s unwavering commitment to quality education.

“Gawin po nating center of education, peace, and development ang Kabuntalan ng Maguindanao del Norte, para sa lahat ng Bangsamoro — IPs, Muslim ka man o hindi dahil nasa inklusibong pamamahala tayo,” Prof. Dilna remarked.

(Let’s make Kabuntalan of Maguindanao del Norte a center of education, peace, and development for all Bangsamoro people, whether Indigenous, Muslim, or not because we are under inclusive governance.)
