COTABATO CITY (August 18, 2023) – Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), Member of Parliament, Hon. Mohammad Kelie U. Antao, implemented his program called Forum on Unity for Peace, and Democratic Advocacy in Winning Appreciation and Harmony for Peace and Prosperity (DAWAH) Program.
Together with him are the Five Miracle Members of Parliament who supported his advocacy for the peace program, namely: MP Tawakal B. Midtimbang, MP Suwaib L. Oranon, MP Bassir D. Utto, MP Mudjib C. Abo, and MP Mosber E. Aliuddin.
The activity was organized by the League of Bangsamoro Organizations (LBO) office of Unity for Peace Movement (UPM) held in the Covered Court of Brgy. Olandang, Midsayap of Special Geographic Area on Sunday, August 13.
MP Antao invited one hundred (100) individuals from the grassroots community of Brgy. Olandang and Brgy. Kudarangan for this activity that includes distributions of 5kgs sacks of rice for the said participants.
He called the villagers to unite as one for the welfare of the SGA community and to support the leadership of Chief Minister of the Bangsamoro Government Hon. Ahod Balawag Ebrahim.
MP Antao emphasized the importance of solidarity, “when there is unity, there is peace.”
Also, he encouraged the audience to participate in disseminating rightful information to fellow Bangsamoro as an ambassador of peace. He believes that in attaining unity and peace, collaboration is a must to be observed in every activity.
“A message of peace is not only by words but through action. Relay the rightful information about the implementation of the BARMM Government programs in terms of peace, security and other basic services through making yourselves as an Ambassador of peace. With that, we can relay together the message of Moral Governance to our fellow Bangsamoro,” MP Antao said. (Faydiyah Samanodi Akmad, BMN/BangsamoroToday).
