COTABATO CITY (MARCH 22, 2023) — The Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kutawato Inc. (MCCIKI) and Innovative Learning Management Operations, Inc.(ILMO), the Jamiat Supreme Student Council (JSSC), and 8th Avenue Styles and Events (ASE) organize Ramadhan Festival Trade Fair to support small businesses and empowerment of the Muslim youth.

The group announced the plan during the press conference on Ramadhan Festival Trade Fair 2023, held at 8Z Properties Building Rental (PBR), old Barter Tourism Complex, Cotabato City, on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Comparing the Ramadhan festival trade fair with the last trade fair, Bai Sandra Siang-Basar  said, “The Ramadhan Festival, is to support the newly or small business and to encourage the people who plan to build a businesses.”

She added that they will make the booths more attractive and stable.

“In the festival trade fair you can buy different things like foods from different cultures around the world because they will be selling products of other countries,” she said.

Innovative Learning Management Operations (ILMO) Inc. Chairman and CEO Dr Bong Borero Lumabao, encouraged the Bangsamoro youth to join the Ramadhan festival activities.

Organizers said the fair will be coupled with activities involving the youth that include Adhan or call for prayer and Qur’an memorization.

“Ramadhan Festival is not ordinary because we will also try to expose the talentss of our Bangsamoro youth.” Lumabao added.

He explained that the activity will help build the leadership of the Muslim youth considering that they will be the hosts of the events.
“This is to inspire the Bangsamoro youth in balance education, to study the beauty of dunya and akhirat (hereafter),” he emphasized.

He further explained that in the Adhan competition, 7 to 12 years old Muslim youth can join the activity which will start on April 1.
Lumabao expressed his gratitude to the media and to those who will support the Ramadhan festival 2023.

Meanwhile, Zinatol Hayat S. Mlok 8Z from Properties Building Rental asked the residents of the city and neighboring provinces to come and visit the Ramadhan Festival Trade Fair.
“This is open for all cultures and all people who want to come,” he said.
