Celebrating Women’s Month in Support to Gender Equality and Inclusive Society
COTABATO CITY (March 8, 2023) – The Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) kicked off the observance Women’s Month with the celebration of International Women’s Day at Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex, Bangsamoro Government Center on March 8, 2023.
The MILG emphasized the role of women and everyone in the pursuit of gender equity.
The employees and staff of the MILF participated in the celebration to manifest their support the gender equity and inclusive society.
The MILG believes that to empower the women, all agencies, mechanisms, institutions, private partners and duty-bearers from the national to the local levels should come together in providing women equal rights and opportunities.
