48 Unlad Program Beneficiaries Receive Rice Subsidy in Ligawasan
COTABATO CITY (August 6, 2025) — The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MSSD) distributed rice subsidies to beneficiaries of the Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program in Ligawasan town on July 25, 2025.
A total of 48 beneficiaries received PHP 9,000 each in rice assistance during the distribution activity, which was facilitated by the Ligawasan Municipal Social Welfare Office. Para-social workers also supported the initiative to ensure a smooth and orderly process.
The rice subsidy is part of MSSD’s continuing efforts to support vulnerable families in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program is one of the ministry’s flagship social protection programs aimed at addressing the basic needs of indigent families across the region.
