
MILF’s Ad-Hoc Joint Action Group provides updates on the Bangsamoro Peace Process to 110th Base Command Eastern Mindanao Front

COTABATO CITY (July 20, 2025) — The Moro Islamic Liberation Front-Ad Hoc Joint Action Group (MILF-AHJAG), under the leadership of Chairman Anwar S. Alamada, conducted a peace process update session with members of the 110th Base Command – Eastern Mindanao Front at D & M Catering Services in Cotabato City, on Thursday.
The engagement aimed to provide timely information on the ongoing implementation of the Normalization process and to strengthen and reinforce internal unity and coordination, the report said.
The session forms part of a continuing series of engagements with various MILF base commands and groups. Similar activities have previously been conducted to ensure that all levels of the organization remain well-informed and actively supportive of the peace process and its objectives, the report added.
Chairman Alamada presented recent developments on the Normalization track and emphasized the enduring responsibility of MILF to uphold discipline, unity, and commitment in this period of transition. He also encouraged continued support for mechanisms that sustain peace and order across the region.
The program also featured messages from Ustadz Abdulmaula Tahir and Ustadz Abdulwahab Kawilan, who shared Islamic perspectives on unity, discipline, and the importance of staying committed to the ongoing peace efforts. A symbolic Mubaya’ah was also conducted as a sign of reaffirming support to the leadership and the collective path towards peace.
