COTABATO CITY (July 1, 2025) — Member of the Bangsamoro Parliament (MP) Abdulbasit R. The summit, organized by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC-BARMM), gathered stakeholders, experts, and policymakers to envision a stronger and more connected future for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

MP Benito emphasized that air transportation is not just a means of travel; it is a lifeline for the Bangsamoro people. “It serves as a bridge between aspirations and opportunities,” he stated, underscoring its vital role in connecting distant provinces and island communities to trade, education, public services, and family reunions.

“In an archipelagic region like ours, enhancing air connectivity is not merely a convenience; it is a necessity,” he noted.
