Clan Feuds in Maguindanao del Norte Resolved Through Amicable Settlement

COTABATO CITY (April 23, 2025) — The clan feud or rido between the Jalil Abdulkamed family and the Ruwaf Haris Anggotin family in Buldon Municipality has been resolved with the assistance of Maguindanao del Norte Governor Datu Sharifudin Tucao P. Mastura, CPA.

The peace accord was witnessed by Buldon Mayor Pahmia Manalao-Masurong, Vice Mayor Abolais Manalao, other local officials, and community elders.

In the report, both clans pledged to refrain from retaliatory actions and to collaborate on community-building initiatives.

Governor Mastura emphasized his commitment to ending clan feuds in the province, stating, “Rido, which has caused immense suffering, disrupted communities, and hindered development, has no place in Maguindanao del Norte.”
