Bangsamoro Pride’s Princess Alrezah Wins Six Awards at the Japan International Innovation Summit 2025

COTABATO CITY (April 16, 2025) — Japan recently hosted the International Youth Innovation and Peace Summit 2025, which brought together global visionaries to develop innovative solutions for community challenges. The summit, attended by talented Asian youth, took place from April 10 to 13, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.

Princess Alrezah Radiamoda, a prominent Bangsamoro youth leader from Marawi City, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) represented both the Bangsamoro and the Philippines at the event. Her participation underscored her commitment to peace and innovation, earning her several prestigious awards for her innovative project ideas.

According to a post by Sindaw Ranaw, during the summit, Princess Alrezah received multiple accolades, including 1st Place for Innovator Speak-up, Winner of Best Group Project Idea, Honourable Delegate, Academic Innovator & Peace Presenter, Top 50 World Leader Innovator Award, and Global Innovator Award 2025.

“These accolades highlight her dedication to creating impactful solutions and her ability to collaborate effectively with international peers,” the post stated.

Princess Alrezah expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to represent both the Bangsamoro and the Philippines, emphasizing that the support of her family and friends played a vital role in her success. She also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of her team and the guidance of Allah (SWT) throughout her journey.

The Japan International Innovation Summit 2025 is an educational program that combines exposure opportunities in Tokyo, Japan. The program encourages Asian youth to develop leadership skills, gain education, understand new cultures, and foster innovation while raising awareness through the insights of experienced speakers.
