MOLE’s Bangsamoro Internship Development Program Distributes Stipends to Asatidz
GENERAL SANTOS CITY (August 24, 2024) — On August 22, 2024, the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE), through its Bangsamoro Internship Development Program (BIDP), distributed stipends to 163 Asatidz (the plural of Ustadz) at the Jamiat Cotabato and Institute of Technology in Cotabato City.
The beneficiaries, hailing from Cotabato City, Maguindanao del Sur and Norte, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, and the Special Geographic Area, each received ₱15,642.00 as compensation for their three months of dedicated service to the program.
MOLE’s Deputy Minister Tommy Nawa emphasized that unity is vital for effective governance and progress, asserting that the commitment and service provided to the Bangsamoro people know no limits.
The event was also graced by Sheikh Muslim M. Guiamaden, the Wālī of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), who expressed strong support for the program and highlighted the crucial role of Islamic teachers for the Muslim ummah in the Bangsamoro region.
