
Office of MP Malang Turns over ₱1.6M check to Davao Doctors Hospital

COTABATO CITY (August 19, 2025) — The Office of Member of Parliament (MP) Butch P. Malang has formally turned over a check amounting to ₱1.6 million to Davao Doctors Hospital in support of the Bangsamoro Health Outreach Program.
The program aims to provide medical and financial assistance to MILF–BIAF Base Commanders and Deputy Base Commanders, in recognition of their vital role in the Bangsamoro struggle and their continued dedication to advancing the region’s aspirations.
More than just financial aid, his office said that this initiative serves as a symbol of gratitude and solidarity with those who have made tremendous sacrifices in pursuit of justice, peace, and development in the Bangsamoro region. Ensuring their health and well-being is a shared responsibility in the ongoing journey toward lasting peace and meaningful autonomy.
The turnover ceremony was held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Davao Doctors Hospital, located at 118 Elpidio Quirino Avenue, Poblacion District, Davao City. During the event, Team MALANGkas reaffirmed their strong commitment to genuine public service and to the guiding principle of “Serbisyo para sa Bangsamoro” (Service for the Bangsamoro).
