PRO BAR Regional Director Visits Police Stations in Lanao del Sur

COTABATO CITY (April 28, 2025) — Police Brigadier General Romeo J. Macapaz, the Regional Director of Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO BAR), conducted visits to various municipal police stations in Lanao del Sur. The purpose of these visits was to strengthen police operations and boost officer morale.

Accompanying the Regional Director were Police Colonel John Michael C. Mangahis, Chief of the Regional Operations Division (ROD); Police Colonel Robert S. Daculan, Provincial Director of the Lanao del Sur Police Provincial Office (LDSPPO); and personnel from the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD). The RPRMD team verified the attendance of all deployed officers.

During a series of “Talk to the Men” sessions, PBGEN Macapaz addressed the officers, praising their dedication and emphasizing the importance of professionalism, discipline, and integrity. He also personally inspected the facilities and operational readiness of each police station, ensuring they met the standards for effective law enforcement.

With the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE) approaching, the Regional Director provided strategic guidance and directives, stressing the need for vigilance, neutrality, and preparedness to ensure fair and peaceful elections.

This visit highlighted PRO BAR’s commitment to strengthening its personnel and enhancing public safety and security in Lanao del Sur and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). (Reported by Melody N. Flores, USM OJT Student, BMN/Bangsamoro Today)
