MP Benito Thanks Participants in Stakeholders’ Consultation

COTABATO CITY (April 13, 2025) — The Office of Member of Parliament Abdulbasit R. Benito recently hosted a two-day consultation and dialogue with stakeholders at the Margaritas Mountain Resort in Kimarayag, Pigcawayan, North Cotabato. This event aimed to reinforce the leadership’s commitment to engage directly with the Bangsamoro people, even during a time when resources are limited.
“This is more than just a program; it is a gesture of gratitude. We have been given a rare opportunity to serve, and in return, we strive to embody the teachings of our leaders,” said Benito.
The office emphasized the urgent need to implement Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua’s programs within a very short time frame, which is why strategic efforts like this consultation are being conducted.
“InshaAllah, we will not fail the trust placed in us,” Benito stated.
The event also provided an opportunity for MP Benito to express gratitude to the working committees who contributed behind the scenes. Key individuals recognized include Abdulbasir Mustapha, Director of the Bureau of Politics and Governance of the League of Bangsamoro Organizations (LBO); H. Taib Amil, Director of the Bureau of Recruitment and Membership; Baddy Ibrahim, Director of the Bureau of Education and Training; Secretary-General Mahdie Amella; and the dedicated staff led by MP Benito’s Chief of Staff, Yusoph Lumambas.
Benito also acknowledged the essential role of focal persons from the provinces of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and the Outside Bangsamoro Communities (OBC). “Their presence and participation continue to strengthen the connection between the leadership and the communities they serve,” Benito added.
