BARMM Chief Minister Ebrahim attends the 17th IGRB Meeting

PASAY CITY, METRO MANILA — Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) attended the 17th Meeting of the National Government-Bangsamoro Government Intergovernmental Relations Body (IGRB) on Thursday, 27 Rajab 1445 AH/8 February 2024 held at this city.

The Chief Minister underscores the imperative role of the IGRB in settling issues and strengthening the relationship and policies between the national government and the Bangsamoro government.

“Our commitment to moral governance underpins our optimism about sustaining the robust and positive momentum required to safeguard the dividends of the peace process, and we owe the accomplishments we see today to the productive partnership between the national government and the Bangsamoro government, facilitated through the IGRB”, the Chief Minister said in his message.

“As we convene today, I am confident that we can leverage this 17th meeting to find mutually beneficial answers to issues and concerns that we confront as one institution and one republic”, he added.

DBM Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman and MBHTE Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal presided over the meeting as co-chairs of the IGRB, which consists of 20 members from both the National and Bangsamoro governments. President Ferdinand R.
