COTABATO CITY (Ika-15 ng Mayo, 2025)—Ipinagdiwang ng Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy (MENRE) ang Women’s Day noong ika-8 ng Mayo sa Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte. Ang programa ay inorganisa ng Administrative and Finance Services (AFS) at may temang “Men and Women Advancing Gender Equality.”

“Every day is women’s day. The strength, compassion, and resilience of women—our mothers, sisters, wives, and colleagues—shape the very foundation of our homes, our workplaces, and our communities. Their presence is not only vital but irreplaceable,” pahayag ni AFS Director Al-Sharif Tamburani.

“We understand that with the demands of office work and the fasting season, it wasn’t easy to squeeze in an event like this. But that’s the thing about women, we know how to adjust, how to wait patiently, and when it’s time, we show up stronger than ever. And today is proof of that,” ayon kay Chief Administrative Officer Rowaida D. Lalang.

“Gender equality isn’t a women’s issue. Rather, it’s a shared commitment and responsibility. It’s about all of us working together to create a workplace where respect, fairness, and opportunity are for everyone. So, as we move forward, let’s keep supporting each other, lifting each other, and making this office a space where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive,” dagdag pa niya.

(Hasna U. Bacol, BMN/BangsamoroToday)
