MBHTE builds a covered court and Peace Center Building in Cotabato City
COTABATO CITY (December 18, 2024) — The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) through the leadership of Minister Mohagher Iqbal has made a groundbreaking ceremony construction of a covered court at Cotabato City Senior High School-Stand Alone at Tamontaka MB, Cotabato City on November 26, 2024.
It is said that the project will be subsidized under the GAAB 2024 amounting to PhP6,954,802.50.
MBHTE said that “the new building is sought to provide learners with a conducive learning environment, enhancing quality education in the region.”
To continue the whole approach to peace and development of the Bangsamoro region, another groundbreaking ceremony was held on November 21, 2024.
The construction of two units of two-storey Peace Center Building in UVPN and SMF Center at Poblacion 9, Cotabato City. These new buildings will be funded under TDIF 2023, amounting to PhP9,800,276.60.
This new center aims to provide a space for peace negotiation in conflict-affected areas. Encouraging an end to violence and addressing societal issues in the region. (Tu Alid Alfonso, BMN/BangsamoroToday)
