Maguindanao del Sur Brings Compassion in Action Through Medical Mission in Rajah Buayan

COTABATO CITY (October 8, 2025) — The Provincial Government of Maguindanao del Sur, under the leadership of Governor Datu Ali Midtimbang, brought vital health and social services closer to the people through a medical and community outreach mission in the municipality of Rajah Buayan on Tuesday.

The activity, held under the flagship program “Midtimbang Cares: Alagang Tapat, Serbisyong May Puso, Tuloy ang Pagbabago!”, aimed to provide essential medical care and assistance to residents—particularly those in far-flung and vulnerable areas of the province.

During the mission, hundreds of residents benefited from free dental care, medical consultations, incision services, and medicines. The Provincial Government also distributed reading glasses for senior citizens, wheelchairs, canes, and school supplies for students, along with free haircuts for community membe

A feeding program for children and rice distribution for beneficiary families were likewise conducted, ensuring that the outreach extended both health and livelihood support to the community.

Governor Midtimbang emphasized that the initiative reflects the Provincial Government’s continuing commitment to deliver accessible and compassionate public service to every Maguindanaon.

“Through programs like Midtimbang Cares, we aim to make government service more inclusive, heartfelt, and responsive to the needs of our people,” Governor Midtimbang said.
