MAGUINDANAO DEL NORTE (September 27, 2027) — The 121st Base Command, formerly known as the Jabidah Base Command, in Lanao del Sur has issued a statement reaffirming its continued loyalty and support to the leadership of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), under the guidance of Ameerol Mujahideen Al-Haj Murad Ebrahim.

In the statement addressed to fellow members and supporters posted by Anuas Hadjiserad on social media, the group emphasized its commitment to the principles of Jihad as a religious obligation and reiterated that the struggle for the realization of its objectives is ongoing.

“We believe that Jihad is a never-ending religious duty. Forsaking it will lead to humiliation. Our struggle is far from over,” the statement read. “Above all, we believe that the ultimate goal of our Jihad is to make supreme the word of Allah.”

The command also called for unity, self-discipline, and organizational discipline, warning against the dangers of disunity within the ranks.

“Unity is paramount and essential for our triumph. United we stand, divided we fall. Unity is life; disunity is death,” the message emphasized.

Citing forthcoming challenges, the statement urged members to remain steadfast through courage, patience, and cooperation, and highlighted the need for collective effort in achieving the group’s mission.

The message also included quotes from the Qur’an, underscoring themes of brotherhood, obedience, and reconciliation:

“The believers are but brothers, so make peace between your brothers. And fear Allah, so that you may be shown mercy” (Qur’an 49:10)
“O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those of you who are in authority…” (Qur’an 4:59)

The statement concluded with a reaffirmation of the group’s ideological stance and religious motivation.

The 121st Base Command is one of the recognized units under the MILF’s military structure. The MILF continues to play a key role in the ongoing transition process in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) following the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law.
