
Pumpboat Turned Over to Barangay Pinguiaman in Sultan Kudarat to Enhance Emergency Response

COTABATO CITY (August 16, 2024) — A motorized pumpboat was officially handed over to Barangay Pinguiaman in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, during a ceremony held in Poblacion 8, Kakar, Cotabato City.
This initiative was funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) by Bangsamoro Parliament Member Hon. Mudjib C. Abu.
Barangay Secretary Tamano Aminola accepted the pumpboat on behalf of the local government and expressed gratitude for the support. He emphasized the significance of the pumpboat in improving the barangay’s rescue and emergency response operations, especially during floods and other natural disasters.
Representatives from the Office for Other Bangsamoro Communities (OOBC)–BARMM were also present at the event, led by Mr. Rusman B. Musa (DMO III) and Muhamiden A. Mambao, who represented Executive Director Noron S. Andan, MPA, MAEd.
The turnover highlights MP Abu’s commitment to Moral Governance and the responsible use of public funds, which aims to strengthen disaster preparedness and support grassroots communities throughout the Bangsamoro region. (BMN/BangsamoroToday)
