OOBC, Cooperative Development Authority – ROX, and TESDA-ROX Hold Inter-Agency Coordination Meeting

COTABATO CITY (July 15, 2025) — The Executive Director of the OOBC, Prof. Noron S. Andan, MPA, MAEd., recently met with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA)-ROX Regional Director, Aminoden A. Elias. Following this, they had a productive discussion with Ms. Elsa May H. de Pedro, the Supervising TESD Specialist and Planning Focal of TESDA-ROX, as well as Ms. Meriam E. Calam, the Senior TESD Specialist and Partnership and Linkages Focal.

The focus of the meeting was to enhance inter-agency collaboration in preparation for the upcoming Other Bangsamoro Communities Mapping and Needs Assessment (OBC MANA) in Region X.

The OOBC emphasized that this strategic partnership reaffirms the Bangsamoro Government’s commitment to extending its programs and services to Bangsamoro communities located outside the core territory through inclusive and coordinated efforts.

Additionally, OOBC Executive Director Prof. Andan also met with NCMF-ROX Regional Director Dr. Abdulnasser P. Masorong, Jr., CESO III, alongside Mr. Jamaloddin P. Muti, JD, SCI, Chief of the Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Division, and Atty. Mohammad Hussien B. Lucman, Chief Administrative Officer.

The OOBC also coordinated with Ms. Almer Masillones, Assistant Regional Director, together with Maricris Gabia, Division Chief, and Jayquel S. Peñaloga, Chief of Staff of the DTI-ROX, as well as Mr. Wilson Mabale, DMO IV, and Engr. Alyssa Evangelista, DMO II from MinDA – Northern Mindanao.

The OOBC reiterated that the meeting aimed to strengthen coordination for the upcoming OBC MANA in Region X. This partnership reinforces the Bangsamoro Government’s commitment to reach and serve Bangsamoro communities outside the core region through responsive programs and inter-agency collaboration.
