
UNYPAD Maguindanao Cluster 3 Successfully Hosts a Two-Day Team Building Event in General Santos City

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (June 29, 2025) – The team building and turnover activities were successfully conducted on June 28-29, 2025, at Dolores Tropicana Resort in General Santos City.
This event was the result of a collaborative effort between the United Youth for Peace and Development Inc. (UNYPAD) and the Bangsamoro Kulliyah for Islamic Studies chapter, under the supervision of provincial officials and as part of the UNYPAD Maguindanao Cluster 3 initiative.
The activity attended by 50 individuals, including school-based chapter members and provincial officers of the organization. Its main objectives are to hand over responsibilities to the incoming officers, strengthen camaraderie, and welcome graduated UNYPAD members into their respective municipal chapters.
The activity premier part is the opening Dua led by Bangsamoro Kulliyah for Islamic Studies Chairman Alirayan Donde Ahmad Followed by the opening remarks of Vice Chairman for External Affairs, at the Bangsamoro Kulliyah for Islamic Studies chapter advicer Taukan Salugongan. He welcomed the new officers new members of UNYPAD.
Provincial Chairman, Akmad Sugadol Musa said in his inspirational message,
“You are very lucky brothers and sisters because you belong to this organization supporting Jihad Fi Sabilillah which we are going to organize the young generations to become God fearing citizens and mold them to become good and leaders who abide Islamic laws. He also cited his experiences in organizing, managing the young for his two decades of experience in the organization.”
Aisha Moreno-Temac Women Affairs Committee Chairwoman states in her message of support to young leaders to help each other in advocating the objective mission, vision and goals of UNYPAD.
Pasigan Sapalon, Vice Chairman for Internal Affairs of the UNYPAD Maguindanao Cluster 3, reiterates that “when you inter to the organization you are mandated to perform your duties and responsibilities because it is still part of our struggle.”
Morsid Guiapal, an officer under the Office of the Student Affairs of Bangsamoro Kulliyah for Islamic Studies present during the activity to supervise his students and congratulate all new officers and members of the UNYPAD Maguindanao Cluster 3.
The next part of the activity is the distribution of the certificates to the students who participated this memorable activity. Second part of the activity is parlor game aims to increase closeness of the members of the UNYPAD both new comers and out going officers.
On Sunday, June 29, of the gathering is assessment of the activity to find what part of the activity needs to be improved and record all those best practices.
Sarah Matanog, the Women’s Affairs Committee Chairwoman of Bangsamoro Kulliyah for Islamic Studies chapter emotionally delivered her message of thanks to everyone. She appreciated the efforts of the officers of the chapter. A tear of joy to all attendees of the activity for their success in conducting the team building activity.
The activity ends with Islamic orientation and closing dua delivered by the Ridwan Badulhi Committee on Da’wah and Education of Bangsamoro Kulliyah for Islamic Studies chapter. (Abu Salamat Hasim, BMN/BangsamoroToday)
