
MOST holds Digital Entrepreneurship Training for 50 Employees

COTABATO CITY (April 12, 2025) — Fifty employees of the Bangsamoro Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) participated in a three-day Digital Entrepreneurship Training program from April 10 to 14, 2025, at Dusit Thani Hotels and Resort, Davao City.
MOST say that this Training of Trainers program aimed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to empower beneficiaries of the Creative Rural Entrepreneurship (CREATIVE) Project, an initiative under the Special Project Management Office (SPMO) of the Office of the Minister.
Minister Engr. Aida M. Silongan, PhD, urged participants to acquire knowledge to share with CREATIVE beneficiaries, enhancing their entrepreneurial skills.
“This activity is our way of gaining knowledge that we can share with our CREATIVE beneficiaries to help enhance their entrepreneurial skills,” the Minister said.
Bangsamoro Director-General Engr. Abdulrakman Asim emphasized the need for digital expertise to improve the business operations of their beneficiaries, stating that it aligns with the ministry’s goal to uplift the living standards of the Bangsamoro people.
Andy K. Husain, Project Coordinator of the SPMO, highlighted the importance of learning and teaching to support Bangsamoro women in digital entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
Resource speakers included representatives from the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Tourism – BARMM, who provided valuable insights for the trainers.
