Magungaya Sa Langgapan Farmers and Fisherfolks Marketing Cooperative, Pinag-aaralan ang Mahusay na Proseso sa Paggawa ng Produktong Niyog
COTABATO CITY (Ika-18 Ng Pebrero, 2025) — Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Magungaya Sa Langgapan Farmers and Fisherfolks Marketing Cooperative ang isang benchmarking activity sa Amparitas Integrated Nature Farm sa Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur noong ika-11 hanggang ika-13 Ng Pebrero. Ang aktibidad na ito ay sinuportahan ng Office of Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) interim Parliament Member Atty. Teng M. Ambolodto, MNSA, gayundin ng Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism (MTIT), Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), at ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Sultan Sa Barongis.
Sa kanilang pagbisita, natutunan ng mga kasapi ng kooperatiba ang makabagong teknolohiya at pinakamahusay na estratehiya sa pagpoproseso ng mga produktong niyog mula sa Amparitas Farm. Ang nasabing farm ay kilala sa pagpapatupad ng mga napapanatiling pamamaraan sa pagsasaka, pagpapalawak ng ani, at pagpapalakas ng ugnayan sa komunidad. Kabilang sa kanilang mga pangunahing produkto ang Virgin coconut oil, Natures Pal, Coco cola, Coco sugar, Coco aminos, Coco nectar, Coco water, Bukayo, at Coconet.
Ayon kay Muslimin M. Salih, Chairperson ng Magungaya Sa Langgapan Cooperative, nagbigay ang naturang pagbisita ng mas malawak na kaalaman sa operasyon ng Amparitas Farm at mga angkop na teknolohiyang maaaring gamitin upang higit pang mapaunlad ang kanilang sariling mga produkto.
‘Virgin coconut oil, soy sauce, and vinegar are our current three main products. We want to improve these products and eventually develop others from coconut. We are also grateful to the Sultan Sa Barongis LGU for its commitment to supporting us by providing a building facility,” ani Salih.
Samantala, ipinaliwanag naman ni April Rose A. Duero, TVET Coordinator/Trainer ng Amparitas Farm, na ang aktibidad na ito ay layong palakasin ang kakayahan ng Magungaya Sa Langgapan Cooperative upang mas maging produktibo sa industriya ng niyog at makalikha ng mas maraming oportunidad para sa kanilang komunidad.
“This initiative not only seeks to amplify the earnings of the Magungaya cooperative farmers but also aims to stimulate job creation and foster the emergence of enterprises within their community. Creating jobs is an advocacy of Amparitas Farm,” paliwanag ni Duero.
Binigyang-diin ni MP Teng ang kahalagahan ng industriya ng niyog sa kabuhayan ng mga magsasaka sa Bangsamoro.
“Our Bangsamoro farmers can utilize all parts of the coconut, from the meat and water to the husk and shell, maximizing their yield and diversifying their income streams. The versatility of coconut products, ranging from food items to industrial materials, ensures consistent demand and a stable market. We consider this initiative significant not only in developing value-added livelihood opportunities for our people and its consequential poverty reduction, but also in addressing the fundamental right of our people to access halal food products and services,” ani ng Legislator
Ipinapakita ng proyektong ito ang patuloy na pagsisikap ng opisina ni MP Teng, MTIT, at MAFAR sa pagsuporta sa mga lokal na magsasaka, pagpapatibay ng mga kooperatiba, at pagpapalakas ng sektor ng agrikultura sa Bangsamoro. (Hasna U. Bacol, BMN/BangsamoroToday)
