Over 30,000 Tarbiyyah Members Gather in Camp Darapanan Vows to Support MILF Leadership

COTABATO CITY (October 26, 2024) — A remarkable turnout of 30,663 individuals convened at Camp Darapanan for the Tarbiyyah General Assembly on Saturday, October 26. The event took place in Camp Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao Del Norte, and was organized by the Tarbiyyah Committee of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), in collaboration with its Subcommittee from Shu’unul Quranil Kareem.

Participants hailed from 43 provinces, including Region 9, Tawi-TawiProvince, Zamboanga, Basilan, Darussalam Province, Maranao Province, Amay Pak-pak Marawi City, Palao A Goarain, Padang Karbala, Ranao Region 13 province, Lanao Del Sur, Lanao Del Norte, Davao, Central Mindanao, Cotabato City, Maguindanao Province, Iranun Province, Ligawasan province, North Cotabato and Kapalawan Province.

The assembly was personally attended by key figures, including BARMM Chief Minister and MILF Chairman Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim, MP Abdullah Gayak—Chairman of Tarbiyyah, BARMM Mufti Abdulrauf Guialani, Director General of Madaris Education Prof. Tahir Nalg, and IHH–an International Non-Government Organization based in Turkey represented by Shiekh Omer Kesmen.

The event showcased strong support for the leadership of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the Bangsamoro Government, and the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), under the stewardship of Chairman Al Haj Murad Ebrahim.
