Bangsamoro Education Ministry Advances Infrastructure Projects in the Region
COTABATO CITY (October 20, 2024) — The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) continues to enhance educational infrastructure across the Bangsamoro region, with several significant projects recently reported.
On October 17, 2024, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the installation of fencing and a gate at the Bangsamoro Kulliyyah for Islamic Studies (formerly the Regional Madrasah Graduate Academy) in Buluan, Maguindanao del Sur.
This project, according to MBHTE is funded under the GAAB 2023 and has a budget of PhP4,763,286. The new fence and gate are intended to bolster security and accessibility, creating a safer learning environment for students.
Additionally, on October 16, a turnover ceremony took place for a newly constructed school building at Pebpoloan High School in Barangay Pebpoloan, Carmen, SGA. This project is funded under the GAAB 2022 and amounted to PhP4,206,773.60. The new building aims to provide students with improved facilities, fostering a conducive learning atmosphere necessary for quality and inclusive education.
