MOST-BARMM Conducts Workshop Focusing on Effective Teaching for Science Educators

COTABATO CITY (May 28, 2024) — The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) conducts a three-day training workshop for thirty-three science teachers participants from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on May 28-30, 2024 at the Grand Summit Hotel, General Santos City. It aimed at enhancing their teaching skills and methodologies.

The workshop themed “Empowering Science Educators: Strategies and Innovations for Effective Teaching,” includes a series of lectures, hands-on activities, and collaborative sessions led by experts from the Philippine Science High School – SOCCSKARGEN.

The initiative aims to address the unique challenges faced by science teachers in the region, aiming to promote better educational outcomes for students.

During the setting of expectations, most of the participants have shown excitement about how the training will enhance their professional growth and benefit their students’ academic performance.
